Checking In & Out

Easy Check-ins

A few days in advance of your arrival date, we will send you the keycode for your stay.

This code is unique to you, and no one else has it. It will become active at 4pm, on your check-in date.

Simply type in your code to unlock the door. When leaving the unit, be sure to pull the door shut, and lock the door by touching the lock symbol. You’ll hear the dead bolt turn and see the blue light at the bottom left indicating that the door is locked. Please note: if the door isn’t pulled all the way shut, the door will not lock.

To lock from the inside, turn the knob to lock the deadbolt.

Note: there is a security doorbell camera on the front door facing out (in the peephole of the door). This allows us to receive packages when no one is home and adds an extra level of security to the unit. It is not monitored unless you actually ring the doorbell.

Parking Pass

One of the first things to do after checking in is to take a parking pass from the kitchen drawer and put it on the dashboard of your car. The parking passes are located in the first kitchen drawer on your right when you enter the kitchen. You can also print one at home before you come.

If you have a “junk drawer” at home, then this is that drawer. It also has pens, notepads, scissors, and tape if you need it.

Be sure to add your check-out date to the form before placing it in your dashboard, or cutting out to hang from your rearview mirror.

Checking Out Checklist

Checkout is at 10:00 am on your checkout date. We always appreciate a heads up if you checkout early, but this is not required. Thanks for staying with us at Sea Oats 508! We hope you enjoyed your visit and hope to see you again!

  • Please load and run the dishwasher. This helps housekeeping significantly if they do not have to wait for the dishwasher to finish running. (Helping housekeeping move quickly simply means the next guest has an opportunity to check-in early. It’s a kind gesture to both the housekeeper and the next guest.)

  • Leave any used or wet towels in the bathtub.

  • Do not strip the beds. Housekeeping will do this.

If you used the sleeper sofa, please remove the sheets and place them near a bed.

  • At any point during your stay, if your trash fills up, there are trash chutes conveniently located at the end of each exterior hall (near the staircases). There are extra trash bags available to replace a full bag.

Making sure all the trash is in the trash can or taking out the trash before you leave is another nice gesture to the housekeeper and could result in the next guest being able to check-in sooner.
