Traveling with Kids

Our Tips for Traveling with Kids

We put together some of our most useful tips for traveling with kids.  These are based on our experience of many flights, road trips, and backpacking through Europe with 3 & 5 years old.

Scroll side to side above and we'll cover traveling on an airplane, navigating TSA, suggestions for easy-to-pack toys, and rental car seats for kids.  We hope these will be helpful as you plan your trip to the beach!!

Items at the condo just for kids…

We know that when you are at the beach, you want to spend most of the time at the beach. But if you find yourself inside the unit, we’ve included a few extra things to entertain.

  • Books! Books for all ages

  • Playing Cards

  • Scrabble Slam

  • Trains and train tracks

  • Bananagrams

  • Rummikub

  • Jenga (play Jenga or let the kids use it as building blocks)

  • Puzzles at all levels

  • Wifi speaker to chill out to your favorite tunes

  • 3 Smart Televisions and cable tv

You'll find just about everything in the living room console table under the television.

Pro-tip for young kids: Pack a couple of balloons in your suitcase. They take up literally no room and become an instant toy in a pinch. I’ve seen my kids spend hours playing with a single balloon.
